VIZIO M221NV Review - Is It Worth A Buy?

The Drawbacks

Although it packs with lots of goodness in it, there are some drawbacks with this tiny TV. Most people complain about is the poor sound, admittedly you can't get good quality sound from a small TV but I guess they can do a lot better than that. The 60 Hz refresh rate has a big difference compare with the 120Hz when watching fast action scene on screen, even at this small size the blur is clearly visible. Few inputs that limit you from its maximum usage, but for some this is just typical because you can't use a tiny TV as a total entertainment machine.

Conclusion

It's got a very good picture quality and it does perform the way it used to be for a 22 inch HDTV. The 1080p display resolution is excellent for a well define picture and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio is just an average brightness but the 60Hz refresh rate is low, some blur image on a high speed scene are noticeable. Slim and lightweight feature are also great, for you to easily carry from one place to another, as well as it doesn't consume much space or just hang it on the wall.   

Few inputs are available that limits you from the basics. The most promising features for the Vizio M221NV are the internet apps and the latest 802.11n dual band Wi-Fi.
