Vizio XVT3D474SV Review – Does It Deliver The Best Picture Quality?

If you're one of those who love to watch movies during leisure time, the Vizio XVT3D474SV could be your perfect companion. This 3D TV has a great advantage over 2D, this adds more excitement for a more enjoyable action pack viewing. As you already know, Vizio is now one of the bestselling brands because of its very attractive price. But the question is does it deliver the best picture quality?

What's new with the Vizio XVT3D474SV?

The Vizio XVT3D474SV is a good looking 47-inch LED TV, packs with so many features that will take you to a next level of viewing experience. With a physical size of 45.2 x 30.6 x 10.6 inches, this is perfect for your living room.

This 3D TV is an internet ready, it is built with Ethernet LAN connector for wire connection and the latest 802.11n dual band Wi-Fi for wireless. This is the easiest way to connect with your favorite movies and TV programs on the net, without causing you pain to configure.

With so many net apps, surfing is a breeze trough Netflix, Pandora, online photo galleries, social networking and variety of smartphone-like applications. For the latest TruLED technology, Vizio chooses the full array LED design with 160 zone dimming for superb brighter and deeper black for a more defined picture.

The Picture Quality

The XVT3D474SV has a full 1080p 1920 x 1080 HD resolution that gives you the best clarity with razor sharp picture. A mind blowing 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio beating all the high priced brands, this results in a brightest whites and darkest blacks, a picture quality that never seen before in any HDTV.

At 480Hz SPS refresh rate truly outperforms all its competitors with only 120Hz and 240Hz. This is definitely the smoothest picture frame you can get in any HDTV out there. Watching fast action scene movies would never be this crisp again, it totally diminished the blur.

Ease Of Use

It uses a universal Bluetooth Qwerty keyboard remote, controlling the entire system will never been this easy again. It's the industry first, using the sliding Qwerty keyboard makes it the easiest way for you to browse and navigate the net.

With the Bluetooth technology, you don't need to point the remote on the TV screen, anywhere in the room will let you control the entire system. This also supports the wireless audio for headphone, if no one wants to disturb while you're watching.

To complete your watching pleasure, it provides a SRS TruSurround HD that drives the two powerful speakers to fill the entire room with Surround sound sensation, this will takes you into a real theater experience. In addition to that, the SRS TruVolume eliminates the annoying sound inconsistency with different programs.

Loaded With Tons Of Inputs

The Vizio XVT3D474SV is loaded with tons of useful inputs. It provides 5 x HDMI, 3 USB with composite and component video. This gives the freedom to connect anything you want that will turn this 3D TV into an ultimate entertainment machine.

Low Power Consumption

Aside from energy star certified, this 3D TV consumes less power. As we already know that, LED TV's dissipates low energy compare with traditional CCFL HDTV's. The TruLED smart dimming feature adds further to its energy conservation, this is due to some specific zones that will brighten and dim down as the scene required. This will definitely save you money that cuts your electric bill.

The Drawbacks

As the saying goes, nobody is perfect. To be honest with you, the Vizio XVT3D474SV is no exception to that, it also has some minor drawbacks. Although the Qwerty keyboard remote gives the ease of usage during navigation, it doesn't provide a backlight that makes it harder to see in a dark room. Another thing is that, it doesn't have an internet browser.

The 2D display is exceptional hands down, but the 3D suffers from few ghosting that result into some imperfections when watching 3D movies. This is the fact that, Plasma TV's are way better than LED's in 3D display but, there's no way they can beat them in 2D. This would be the greatest disadvantage of the LED's compare with plasma's.

The SPS 480HZ refresh rate is not true but, much better than any 240Hz. This almost doesn't matter, the important thing is it really deliver the best smoothness you can get in a fast action scene.
