Just like almost everyone who just graduated from College, it is expected that they are just neophytes and not yet experts to their chosen career. So, in order for them to be able to cope up with the routines and proper protocol in real life scenario, they must learn to deal with their duties as police officers, but at the same time deal with the expectations of their families and friends. Their main goal upon entering the real world of being a policeman is to serve their country, protect the people, and never ever screw up.
